Pump chambers

Here at Bates Environmental, we recently undertook a job to replace two pumps, the guide rails and associated pipework at a commercial customer’s property.

This job had our very own British Water accredited service engineers, confined space operatives and tankers all on-site. All aspects of the job were managed and undertaken by our directly employed staff; we also used all of our own equipment. As a result of our efficiency, the customer was up and running quickly - they did not have to organise any other (or outside) companies to carry out any aspects of the work, we completed it all in one sitting.

A septic tank or treatment plant is not always a viable option. Therefore, in some situations, the preferable option is a sewage pumping station. The pump chamber will pump your sewage and wastewater to the nearest main sewer. A sewage pump station or pump chamber is usually used as a last resort when gravity alone will not allow sufficient drainage to happen. They can be used for both sewage and surface water applications.

At Bates Environmental, we have several commercial customers who undertake routine cleaning of pump chambers, mainly due to FOGs (fats, oils and greases) clogging their drains. All aspects of this work can be efficiently carried out with our own staff and equipment. If you need us to help install or replace a pump chamber, why not get in touch with us today?
